Abstract something or other

I’m trying to do some more abstract photography. If you can guess what this is, I’ll give you a cookie. Matt, you aren’t allowed to play.

Pet peeve

What’s going on with places like Quiznos, for example, who have a tip line on their receipt? Are you serious right now? You made my sandwich. That’s what you get paid your wage to do. You didn’t wait on me. You didn’t offer me a water while I waited. I’m not understanding why I’m supposed to throw something on that line, other than a big fat zero. I’m not trying to be mean, but it’s like a tip is expected. You can feel the cashier’s eyes just boaring into your flesh as you hit the tip line, and for a second, I always debate. Maybe that’s why they do it - on the off chance you’ll feel uncomfortable enough to just give a buck. Not me, though. Big fat zero.
